An example to a workflow idea, could be to activate a users enrollment in a learning activity on a specific date. This could be useful if you need time to create many enrollments for the learning activity, but still wish to enroll them on the same date.

Prior to setting up the workflow, we need to make sure our learning activity is not automatically activated when a user is enrolled. This can be done in Admin > Learning Activities > Activity A > Advanced Options > Enrollments default > Initially active (unchecked)
